BenDeLaCreme Presents is seeking a Production Stage Manager to join the touring crew of The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show 2026 US/Canada Tour,starring BenDeLaCreme and Jinkx Monsoon
Dates: October 13 - December 31, 2026
Salary: $1,750 - $2,250 per week (DOE) + per diem (salary, exempt, non-union)
This is an international touring position requiring a valid passport, ability to enter Canada, and travel via overnight (sleeper) tour bus.
BenDeLaCreme Presents has been producing the internationally-acclaimed The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Showsince 2018 and is gearing up for another holiday season with two of the world’s most famous drag queens. We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our touring production team.
Job duties:
Supervise the cast & crew for all studio rehearsals, technical rehearsals, load-ins, performances, and load-outs
Manage and implement the daily schedule, including rehearsal and performance call times and travel call times in coordination with the Tour Manager
Manage production work notes and tasks
Facilitate communication across all creative and technical departments
Supervise load-ins, coordinate with local crews and venue management teams on stage setup, Lineset Schedules, wardrobe load-in and maintenance, and other technical details
Maintain the show’s script, blocking notes, and other technical documentation including props lists and run sheets
Call the show and oversee backstage activity in performance
Collaborate with Costume Coordinator to create all wardrobe documentation (inventory, cleaning/care instructions)
Collaborate with the Director and Choreographer to ensure show maintains consistency with creative intent across the run of performances, and distribute performance notes to cast throughout the run
Coordinate with the Tour Manager and Advance Production Manager to ensure venue advance details are correct and current
Assist Tour Manager with advancing and executing transportation logistics
Maintain standard operating procedures for daily logistics, contingencies, and emergency situations
Serve as first point of contact for cast & crew human resources, schedule changes, and day-to-day problem-solving in rehearsal and on the road
Create and distribute daily rehearsal and performance reports
Other reasonable duties as assigned by the Producers & Tour Manager
Ensure and uphold all safety standards and proper theatrical workplace practices
Maintain a positive and professional work environment
Necessary skills & qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of professional stage management experience
Prior touring experience (“bus & truck” / one-night stops) working in theatres with union stagehands
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment
A professional, calm, and positive demeanor with decisive leadership style and the ability to manage a small company and high-profile artists in close quarters over a sustained touring period
Strong working knowledge of theatrical industry standard lighting, video, sound, and rigging systems and protocols
Experience working with and leading local union crews including IATSE stagehands and Teamsters
Ability to lift and carry at 50 lbs+, including up and down stairs
A passport valid for international travel (valid through at least 6/30/2027)
Ability to enter Canada (regardless of working status, Canada will not allow entry to persons with felony convictions and/or certain misdemeanor convictions, including DUIs)
Engagement Period:
Studio Rehearsals (Seattle, WA): October 14 - November 1
Tech Rehearsals (Charlotte, NC): November 2 - November 8
Tour: November 8 - December 31
Compensation:
Salary: $1,750 - $2,250 per week, depending on experience (salary, exempt, non-union)
Daily meals provided and/or per diem while working outside of home city
All show-related airfare and ground transportation provided/reimbursed
Single-occupancy hotel accommodations provided while working outside of home city

Salary: $1,500 - $2,000 per week (DOE) + per diem (salary, exempt, non-union)

Job duties:
Supervise all lighting and video elements of the production
Program the lighting console during tech rehearsals, reporting to Lighting Designer
Create and maintain all necessary standard lighting documentation
In collaboration with the PSM, determine the appropriate Lineset Schedule for each venue, including hanging positions for LX, projector, screen, softgoods, and scenic elements as needed
In collaboration with the PSM, supervise and direct the local crew to unload and install all lighting and video equipment. This includes the trailer/truck unload, electrics hang, projector and screen hang, electrical tie-ins, and setting and wiring of deck electrics, as well as any set electrics and other needed electrics.
Test all equipment each day, ensuring everything is in proper working order for the performance
Troubleshoot any equipment issues (extensive onsite moving light repair not expected)
Maintain the artistic/creative integrity of the lighting design and adapt the design to each venue as needed, including adjusting moving light focus and presets, incorporating house FOH fixtures, and incorporating house lights and work lights
Check and test house follow spots and brief operators
Complete projector alignment and focus
Operate the lighting console during performances
In collaboration with the PSM, supervise the load-out and truck pack
Supervise and collaborate with local stage crews and touring crew to ensure smooth and efficient load-ins, performances, and load-outs
Collaborate with the Director and Lighting Designer to make adjustments to the lighting design as necessary
Other reasonable duties as assigned by the Producers & Tour Manager
Ensure and uphold all safety standards and proper theatrical workplace practices

Necessary skills & qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of professional theatrical lighting experience, some video systems/projector experience preferred
Prior touring experience (“bus & truck” / one-night stops) working in theatres with union stagehands
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment
A professional, calm, and positive demeanor with the ability to collaborate with a small company and high-profile artists in close quarters over a sustained touring period
Expert working knowledge of ETC EOS-family lighting consoles, including programming moving lights, maintaining a show file, adjusting presets and palettes to accommodate different spaces, working with MSC/OSC, and other skills reasonably required to tour a musical theater lighting design
Good working knowledge of lighting networks, and the ability to incorporate house systems, as well as interface with QLab over MSC/OSC
Expert working knowledge of theatrical power distribution, including tying in PDs, running cable to units, and safely managing cable runs onstage
Good working knowledge of basic set electrics, including LED tape, encoders, and power supplies
Good working knowledge of common video systems including Panasonic and Barco projectors, Blackmagic accessories, and QLab video control software
Good working knowledge of standard theatrical rigging practices including truss/motors, single-purchase lineset systems, and hemp lineset systems
Experience working with and leading local union crews including IATSE stagehands and Teamsters
Ability to lift and carry at 50 lbs+, including up and down stairs

Job duties:
Hospitality:
Maintain the tour’s Hospitality Rider, which outlines the hospitality & craft services needs for the stars and the full company
In conjunction with the Tour Manager, advance the Hospitality Rider and other hospitality needs with each venue and/or promoter prior to arrival
Manage the tour’s hospitality & craft services inventory, including organizing, storing, and transporting stock to/from the venues, setting up and striking hospitality areas, and maintaining onboard bus stock
Supervise the local runner(s) for each day's “shop”, providing them with a shopping list and a cash float for purchases
Settle the cash float with the runner(s) at the end of each shop and account for proper receipts for all purchases
Coordinate and execute group meals up to twice per day (for up to 20 people). Lunch orders will vary; however, the full company will usually be fed dinner. Most often this is a group take-out order. The Hospitality Coordinator is responsible for selecting restaurants (taking into account any dietary restrictions), distributing menus, collecting orders, and ensuring delivery or pick-up is on time for each meal break.
Account for and reconcile all cash and credit card transactions in coordination with the Tour Manager
VIP Experiences:
Customer-facing role managing the VIP Check-in table to check-in guests and provide them with proper credentials for VIP Experiences
Track all VIP item inventory and deploy inventory as needed (wristbands, VIP Gift Items, step-and-repeat, VIP signage, etc.)
With assistance from other production team members, supervise and execute the VIP Photo-Op, where guests will get individual step-and-repeat photos with the stars
Occasionally coordinate and assist with backstage meet & greets for celebrity guests
Other reasonable duties as assigned by the Producers & Tour Manager

Necessary skills & qualifications:
Prior experience in entertainment hospitality, Company Management, and/or live event coordination/production is required
Excellent organizational skills are required

Ability to work efficiently and professionally in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment
